Ryan P. Kappler –
I used to work with, and on, PCs, and I got burned-out on them. To say that I am tired of having to deal with the complexities and mismatches of homemade PCs (or any PC) is an understatement.
My last PC finally gave up the ghost over Thanksgiving. So, I ordered this PC for myself during the holidays. It did take a week to get to me. But, I am very happy about several things about buying this computer.
• It arrives, fully-assembled, in an unassuming box that is not larger than it has to be, and the computer is inflate-packaged. (You do have to pull some of the inflate-packaging out from inside the PC, and peel the glass protectors off.)
• The glass. It’s real glass. Heavy glass. Held on with sturdy thumb-screws. And the view inside, and the overall esthetic of the PC, is beautiful.
• The ports and controls are so sleek and nice. The outside of this PC looks no different or more complicated than you normal flat-screen television these days.
I have and had absolutely no patience for any shenanigans from any computer, so I pulled this sucker out of the box, pulled off the packaging, threw it where my last PC was, plugged it in, and threatened it to act any way other than smooth like butter.
It did not disappoint. I hit the power button for the first time, and it lit up, and it was completely silent, and the PC was at the desktop screen within 30 seconds. I am a gamer, so I fired up my favorite game. Smooth like butter.
The Bluetooth capability of this PC comes in the form of a dongle that is in a separate bag. I’ve had so-so experiences with dongles like these in the past, so I sighed when I first saw it. But, that turned out good, too. The dongle plugs into any of the USB ports. I immediately had it find my wireless wall-mounted speaker, and it’s been good ever since.
The only downside is that it comes with a remote control for the colors of the fans. I guess we are sliding back into needing a remote control for everything. I considered just turning off the lights (which is an option), but the dark blue has such a nice cool feeling to it, so I left it on that. But, you can switch between, like, eight different colors, and, like, eight different patterns. I did not spend more than thirty seconds on this part of the computer, and I threw the remote control into the bottom of some drawer.
The price is really good, too. If you look up the individual specs of this PC, and piece it together yourself, you will end up spending probably almost twice as much. At least 50 percent more.
I am willing to pay a lot of money for peace of mind. In this case, the peace of mind did not cost nearly as much as I expected it to.
In short, it’s been running for something like two months straight now. I’ve restarted it a couple times just out of maintenance, but I have not gotten a single error message or errant beep.
I don’t think I missed anything important. If I did, I’ll come back and edit this post.

No, it’s not top-tier components- but good enough for my son to play Overwatch on medium to high settings with a consistent frame rate and minimum screen tear… I priced around a lot for an entry level custom gaming rig for him- and this one has the specs that are priced much higher elsewhere. Build quality was great, and the shipping materials were secure.
Upsides:
– It looks impressive. Fired up, the LEDs make it look like Cirque di Soleil is hiding out in your bedroom. Its fairly quiet, even running full tilt- the case seems high quality for sure.
– I got Core i7, 32gig Ram, Radeon RX 580- a TB of storage… not the highest specs, but it is a DDR 4 Motherboard so it can be upgraded when ready and can run many games off Steam at high specs. For less than $600… its fantastic.
– Ours worked right out of the box- Windows fired right up, plenty of docs to help if need be
-Everything but the monitor and internet included. I priced around NewEgg, custom build sellers, used, CostCo- everywhere. I couldn’t get these specs at that price anywhere else.
Downsides:
– I read all the reviews and was warned- I can’t say enough- Be prepared to wire this to ethernet. Or purchase a higher quality external WiFi adapter that interfaces with ethernet. The Wifi capabilities of this out of the box is unusable.
– Its nice it includes a mouse, keyboard, mouse pad, and sound bar- I hate to actually complain… but the keyboard and mouse especially are not the highest quality at all. They work, they all light up, and honestly, most desktops of any major vendor does not come with these accessories anymore, so for essentially freebies, they work. Just know if your gamer is picky about their gaming mouse and keyboard, an upgrade is likely needed.
Final thoughts- I have been very impressed with the quality and performance of this machine. Honestly, for the price, it beats out a lot of the mainstream desktops on the market from HP or Dell. Great Comp.

Edit: The hard drive bricked today. It is no longer seen by BIOS. I will happily edit this review again should the resolution be favorable.
For under $900 this is a great computer. It has a decent GPU, excellent amounts of RAM, plenty of storage. I am having an odd issue loading websites, regardless of browser. It isn’t my internet connection because I still have my old computer and they load much faster on that little mini-PC. So that is odd. I’m not sure what to make on that. The computer CANNOT be upgraded to Windows 11, so when Microsoft officially dumps Windows 10, throw it out. Take some time to save your money to get a higher end PC.
The mouse pad, is nice. I’m not using the keyboard, mouse, or sound bar at this time, so I have no comment on those. The headphones are uncomfortable as can be! It came with several dongles. I believe one is for the wifi issues this model was having, but I have no clue what the other one was for as it came with no explanation and was separate from any of the other accessory packaging.
I do suggest caution as the way the computer was shipped was a bit scary. The box the PC was in, and all the accessories, was put into a bigger box with no filler. This allowed the interior box to bounce around, and I’m surprised it arrived intact and fully functioning. Don’t be cheep on packing materials!
All in all it is a nice computer and plays games great! So odd about the website thing though.
