Bioniq Classic Biomimetic Toothpaste with 20 Percent Hydroxyapatite for Daily Use, 3.44 Ounce
$12.99
- BioHAP or Biomimetic Hydroxyapatite: Teeth consist of approximately 97% hydroxyapatite, which is one of the hardest substances in the human body. This substance makes the dental enamel hard and resistant, protecting the teeth from acids and bacteria. Hydroxyapatite is essential for strong, healthy teeth. However, this mineral wears away over time and cannot be restored by the human body.
-
High Performance: With 20% BioHAP or Biomimetic Hydroxyapatite – better known as artificial enamel – Bioniq cleans the teeth and helps to prevent plaque buildup with regular brushing which improves the health of tooth enamel
-
FLUORIDE AND SLS FREE: Bioniq gently cleanses teeth without fluoride and Sodium Lauryl Sulfate.
-
Bioniq: Bionics is by definition the application of biological methods and systems found in nature. We at Bioniq have leveraged this phenomenon in technical applications, such as oral care products.

I cannot speak to the rebuilding of enamel of teeth yet. I’m assuming that it will take a while. Good flavor, cleans well, holds freshness for quite a while. non GMO which for me is another plus along with no fluoride. Do recommend. After using it for a couple of weeks I can report that my sensitivity in my teeth has gone down significantly.

I will start with the price point being comparable to alternative HA toothpastes and this one blows the alternative out of the water. $12 is not cheap for toothpaste but this one is absolutely well worth it! The clean after brushing with this is just incredible, my teeth feel so smooth, my breath clean fresh, not masked by mint flavor, and my teeth are a natural white. The lactoferrin makes for very happy gums.
Side note: I added a daily dose of L. Salivarius and have since stopped flossing bc I have not found the need.

For me, I use hydroxyapatite toothpaste in the morning when I first get up and use a flouride tooth paste over night. I’m not one of those people that has a vendetta against flouride. A good hydroxyapatite toothpaste just makes my teeth feel less sensitive and feel overall stronger. Is it all in my head or is really remineralization of the enamel? No clue.
I’ve tried a couple different tubes of hydroxyapatite. This one is on par with apagard (maybe even better?), which to me is a gold standard. I use about a pea sized amount and it tends to go a long way. It’s a buck or two cheaper that imported apagard.
The only thing I could knock it on is taste, which is definitely not tuned to the American palette.

I’ve been using this hydroxyapatite toothpaste for a while now, and I must say, it’s been a revelation! The clean feeling after each brush is unparalleled. It’s like having a professional dental cleaning in the comfort of my own home.
The toothpaste works effectively to strengthen my teeth, thanks to the hydroxyapatite, a naturally occurring mineral that makes up the majority of our tooth enamel. I’ve noticed a significant reduction in sensitivity and my teeth feel stronger and healthier.
What’s more, it’s easy to rinse off and leaves my mouth feeling fresh and clean, without any overpowering minty taste. It’s gentle on my gums and has definitely improved my overall oral health.
Cleaning efficiency, enamel protection, and a fresh feeling, all packed in one tube! I couldn’t ask for more from a toothpaste. Highly recommended for anyone looking to upgrade their oral care routine. Five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I began using this product in February due to having extreme tooth and gum sensitivity. After two weeks, I noticed an improvement in the sensitivity of my teeth. After three to four weeks, there was immense difference to the whiteness of my teeth and the strength of my enamel.
Bionic Plus’ benefits remained the same for me until two months ago. In the last two months, the effectiveness of Bioniq Plus has lessened for me. My enamel has weakened, and 70% of that sensitivity has returned. My mouth also does not feel as clean for as long after brushing my teeth.
For that reason I am searching for a new product to help me.
I would still recommend Bioniq Plus over any other product in its price range and below, especially the sensodyne pronamel products I came from using.
*For anyone concerned about opening the product, it twists off by turning the cap over and fitting it into the plastic cover upon the entrance.

This tooth paste is great but it is not a magic pill as it takes some time to work. I seen good results after my second tube. My teeth are a lot cleaner and less sensitive. It is pretty strong in the mouth at first or at least it feels that way to me. However I also let it sit on my teeth for a while. Overall I’m happy and I will continue to use it.

Tastes great and my teeth always feel clean after using (with a Sonicare electric toothbrush). I developed five cavities seemingly out of nowhere, after having none since bad dental habits during my teenage years. I’m chalking it up to hormonal changes at this point (thanks, declining estrogen). I declined fillings for a watch and wait approach and hit my teeth with everything I could find to reverse or at least hold the cavities steady. I’ve settled on hydroxyapatite toothpaste at least 10%, and Bioniq is the best price for the highest percentage, and xylitol candies to help with healthy oral bacteria between brushings. At my last appointment the X-rays showed all cavities were not progressing so I’m pleased and assume this toothpaste is at least partly responsible. My son has also used it and found his tooth sensitivity has gone away.

Don’t understand why so many of these toothpastes designed to add a layer of minerals onto the teeth also come with a very high silica (abrasive) content. The first ingredient is water, the second is Hydroxyapatite, the third is silica. They advertise themselves as adding a protective layer of calcium compounds, which could not be more than a nanometer at a time, then they put in so much silica, an abrasive, that it must be removing it at the same time. As an experiment, I used it where tartar accumulates in my mouth, and it cleared it away. Which makes it good for that, not sure about remineralizing. It has a very strong mint taste/smell, which is good if you are prone to getting bad breath. Stronger mint than other pastes. Good before a meeting. The first time you open it, the top of the cap fits upside down onto the tube to unlock it, very cool design.
