This product is better than described. It cuts like butter. I wish i had bought the plunge too. I wish they could sell the plunge unit separate. I would buy it from these guys in a heart beat. Good Product, Well packaged, On time. I expected it to be in used condition but it was brand new. Makita is a good brand. Thank you for making it affordable to own a brand name product

Recomended as trimer or smaller works, not like dremel tools, i think medium heavy work.. I wish If they will someday have a led, but now, happy with this easily one hand tool. Thanks

Ordered this to supplement my full size router that I (a) didn’t want to pull out or (b) wouldn’t fit for trim work. More than enough power for small jobs. Depth adjustment measurement is engraved in the router body and could extend a little further up the body so not to get lost behind the collar with short bits. Not sure about the the spindle lock. It is a spring loaded button that pushes a shaft into a hole drilled in the spindle. On mine the shaft doesn’t seem to completely seat in the spindle hole. I’ve just gone ahead and used the two wrenches supplied to avoid the issue. Reconditioned price could not be beat by any recognized name manufacturer. OEM edge guide is basic but functional.

One of the best palm routers I have ever bought. Very low DB level. Made very well. A palm router should be easy to use and maintain. Plenty of power for eney routing job. And be comfortable to use. This little router fulfills these requirements. Very pleased with this purchase.
