I love these calculators. I bought a two pack to have one at home and one in the office. I do a lot of numbers work for my personal taxes and at work. The buttons are large so I can work without looking at the keys. I got these because my trusted 176 year old one went on the fritz. These are light and easy to use.

It’s exceedingly rare that I upload a negative customer review for any product which I purchase on Amazon.ca. However, I felt “ethically” compelled to do so in this particular instance.
This calculator was purchased for my own use in the (finance) company where I work. The cost was fully covered by my employer. After two months of regular daily use, calculator’s performance remains acceptable.
The (blue) calculator received from Amazon was a “Catiga Two-Power Calculator” Model CD-2786-12, which – of course – was manufactured in China. The Amazon delivery was notably swift. The calculator is as advertised (e.g., large tilted LCD display screen, large buttons, etc.) and seems to work properly and charges both quickly and efficiently using the small integrated solar cells. Though, it’s certainly not a high-quality product – with a flimsy plastic housing and buttons.
To my utter bewilderment, enclosed in the package upon arrival was a small invoice specifying a total dollar value of $9.99. Yet, as advertised on Amazon at the time, I was charged $36.81, plus tax.
Let me be abundantly clear, this calculator is NOT worth the advertised price. If you search on the websites of other Canadian vendors, such as Staples, BestBuy, Walmart, etc., you will quickly discover better products at a FRACTION of the price charged by this seller on Amazon. Caveat emptor!

As a home tutor, I ordered this desktop calculator to use with students. It is just what I was looking for! It has the basic required functions and is very easy to use. The numbers are large so it is perfect for both young students or older adults. The fact that the calculator is solar powered with a battery backup is also a great feature! The calculator is available in different colors, including my favorite color purple, which was appealing to me. I love my new purple calculator!
