I bought these small calculators for my daughter’s school because the teachers requested them on the new school supply list. They work fine for my daughter who is still in elementary school, but I don’t think they would be suitable for older kids as they are not the best quality. I wouldn’t recommend them for middle schoolers or older students; they are more suitable for younger kids who are just learning to use calculators.

I got these for the Christmas shoe boxes at church. Only bad thing is they require a AA battery. I have several solar calculators and have never had to put batteries in any of them. They did work without any battery but didn’t want a child disappointed in their gift.
