  1. Rachel Hess

These are not solar powered, so I had to buy batteries, which increased the cost. One arrived with the screen broken. The number does not show all the way, so the students could not use it. After about a month of class use, I have lost 10 of the 30. They are top heavy with the batteries, so sometimes students will drop one on accident and they burst into a million pieces. All the buttons come out and everything. Another issue is you have to push the button kinda hard. Some of the buttons will get stuck down (especially the on button). Then, students can’t use it. The sides have come off as well and that is what keeps the battery in-place, so they stop getting power. Just spend a little more for better calculators.

  2. Nichole I.

Please do not waste your money on these calculators. The backs do not stay on. The batteries do not stay in the compartment. About half of them did not turn on straight out of the box. What was left has musfunctioned somehow. They do not input numbers properly or the screen glitches out.

  3. Michelle

Great value- did not read that there were no batteries included. – my fault.

  4. L. McCutcheon

They’re just ok. Made of cheap plastic. The back door that holds the battery will fall off occasionally. Good value for the price but would not recommend. You get what you pay for.

  5. Cindy Schram

I bought this as a classroom set and most of the ten I have used so far work.

  6. n.b

The quality of these calculators is incredibly subpar. Several of the calculators didn’t perform functions such as division or the numbers didn’t work. One completely fell apart upon first use and none of the pieces stay in place/lock causing the butteries to fall out or not connect properly. I knew I was purchasing a cheaper product but am somehow still shocked at what terrible quality they are. I could build a better calculator out of wood.

  7. S. Hauser

I ordered these for Christmas shoeboxes. They are great!

  8. Robert Duiker

These calculators are inexpensive, but a wee bit too cheaply made. The battery doors open too easily and the batteries tumble out of the calculator.

  9. Tracy

The media could not be loaded.

We ordered 30 as we run after school maths clubs. So many did not work it made the club a nightmare. The video shows 9+9 and it gave the answer 81 which is 9*9. Others you pressed the buttons and no responce. try getting the battery compart open; I had to prise it open with a small screw driver.

  10. Tino Bruno

These are NOT solar powered and will need. Battery. Some of the buttons are mislabeled (I.e more than one = equal sign where a number is supposed to be. Some of the numbers either don’t work or if you press the button the wrong numeric is entered (I.e you press 3 but 7 shows up on the screen. These calculators are garbage. If you’re a teacher and planning to distribute them to students for an exam prepare for a massive headache!!
