With 2 6Ah Ryobi batteries attached, worked as described. The only negative take aways were that the shipping took a little longer than was estimated and that there was only one A.C. outlet. Have not tested the USB out port. The light also works as advertised.

I like this because Ryobi only has a single battery inverter. I bought this one because, in theory, two batteries wired in parallel should last twice as long. I bought this to run my cpap machine during power outages. The really great feature on this is it has a 12 volt dc output. I can run my cpap directly off of this. If I use the built in inverter, energy is lost when inverting to 120 AC, but using the 12 volt output, the inverter is bypassed and will give a longer run time.

Got 14 hours of CPAP machine and still had charge in batteries. Out performed my expectations

It works find for very LOW powered things. But the thing I bought it for it was under powered for, which was heating up a small bottle of water to make coffee with. (NOT a large coffee pot) Just a cup of coffee would have been enough, but as it is, it’s just enough to power a laptop for a short while. I really didn’t need all the expense for that. Sterno might have been cheaper for the coffee.

The item did not work at all. Seems like it would be nice, if it it worked

It works great. I initially thought it was not working, but then I read the instructions to hold the power button for a while. Then it came on. The light is bright. The inverter works as designed as well.

Tried a few things with the inverter…will not power a coffee maker, to many Watts. but it will power a 32 inch TV for hours, had one plugged in for 10 hours turned it off when I went to bed. There is LED on front which tell you the Watts being used and your current voltage level of batteries. Only TV was plug in nothing else. I left the batteries in the unit for 2 days with the power off and did not discharge the batteries, still fully charged. When on the inverter used both batteries evenly. My only regret now is not buying the one with 4 slots instead of the 2 slot unit.

We were able to separately power two different 65 inch TVs, a 150 watt space heater and a 250 watt space heater. This power inverter only needs one battery in the slot to work. We also tested it with different battery brands and it worked without any issues.

We also have a larger 4-port version and this 2-port version seems to pull power even when nothing is plugged in. It says 9w are being used. Fortunately, the off brand batteries are more affordable than Ryobi ones so we can keep enough on hand for a prolonged power outage.
