I ordered this home device because I had the opportunity to try a very pricey and gimmicky beauty item for free. After researching the device, I discovered that both the company and device are well-known. In layman’s terms, it’s basically a type of anti-ageing mouth guard that rejuvenates the face by strengthening facial muscles, i.e, around the eyes, cheeks, mouth to retrain and “lift” sagging skin in order to restore a youthful appearance. The device is worn for short periods of time a few days a week. In an independent study, all the subjects reported noticeable improvements in all areas, and there’s supposedly a side bonus of added health benefits for asthma, etc.
~~ The Oralift appliance works by using the body’s healing capacity and its ability to adapt to changes. The muscles of the face when relaxed usually keep the lips together and the teeth slightly apart. .The muscles now adapt by altering to create a new resting length and a new “freeway space.”
Generally reported results by users: Reduced lines around the mouth, eyes, and face, reduced bags under the eyes, and increased fullness of the lips, more prominent cheekbones, tightened and strengthened facial muscles, and increased blood flow to the skin are commonly reported.
So, the device actualluy works and has been well-tested for years, which means it would undoubtedly work for me too. However, I broke my bottom, removable orthodontic retainer worn at night, and until that’s fixed I don’t want to mold this device to fit my bottom teeth or it will be “off”. So, rather than delay this review, I can only say that the device has been proven to work, although it’s an initially pricey investment and wearing it requires a commitment. I assume one also must continue wearing it on a regular basis for maintenance, and that may not be appeal to everyone. The fit and comfort are important, so I suggest doing a little research of your own before buying and also visit the Orolift website to see if you’re a good candidate for the device. My 4 star rating is because I haven’t yet tested how well it works for me.

Very expensive couple of pieces of plastic. The app doesn’t tell you when to schedule (you make the schedule yourself based on the written instructions of the program) nor does it log automatically when you wear it (in spite of the fact that you have to set the timer yourself and start the timer).
I will update if I see results but the app is poor compared to others on the market. The oralB toothbrush I have is far more complex mechanically, tells me when I need to brush, gauges how well I’ve brushed based on sensors in the brush, and logs sessions automatically…and was the same price.

Oralift Premium
Package includes two plastic mouth guard retainer type devices which you wear extensively. Access to an app helps with correct positioning.
Main element is the zoom and support session included, how useful these are depends on your time availability, dedication and willingness to use remote meetings and share information.
The box the package arrives in is rather underwhelming for the target audience. 3 stars

Please be aware that there have been a considerable number of reviews that have been extremely critical of this company’s lack of communication – namely their app’s extreme limitations as well as use of only email or group zoom efforts. This type of device demands much more personal support in order to be successful for everyone.

Loved the packaging too, with the little bonus gifts inside, very nice touch.

Well, I didn’t expect this to work; and what tipped the balance for me in buying something so expensive that seemed high-risk was the hope it would relax my jaw, even if it didn’t change my appearance. I’m a singer, and I’d only recently been discovering how much tension there is in my jaw and how I unconsciously thrust it forward when I sing, especially high notes.
In fact – it really does work. Although I guess it depends on what you want it to do. I have few wrinkles, but my jawline had started sagging and looking pouchy and I’d acquired a double chin.
Two weeks in using it, one night as I brushed my teeth I suddenly saw high cheekbones emerging. All my life I wanted high, prominent cheekbones, but I never imagined Oralift would change my cheekbones (or how they look). But there it was. Over the days they become more and more visible and prominent. Then the back of my jaw changed. The bones didn’t change, I think – I used to have a perfectly oval face – but all the extra flesh was lifting.
There was an almost comical period where there was no fat or extra flesh around my chin OR my jaw at the back, but there was still a pad in the middle, as if it was being melted away from both ends. A little bit is still there but at 60 my face is almost perfectly oval again (still no wrinkles) but not jowly any more.
So now I’m in my first rest period – you don’t use it continually, you use it for a few months then rest it for a few months. In this rest period that bit in the middle is continuing to go down and nothing has gone in reverse.
I have to say I’m bad at routines so I often missed or forgot a session, so these results are coming from a highly imperfect user!
Oh, and it has made a lasting difference in jaw tension. When I do find myself thrusting my jaw forward or clenching, even when lying in bed, I instantly notice and stop and let go. It has had a positive effect on my singing voice too, therefore!
I took my first set of ‘after’ photos and my sloping neck or ‘double chin’ is a bit smaller – not a huge difference (yet) but it is noticeable.
Everyone tells me how great I look (not knowing about the Oralift), but that could heavily affected by the fact I started this during chemo and lockdown. So people might want me to feel good/might be other reasons why I look better than they expect. But I think my face definitely is more attractive than it was before the cancer AND the Oralift.
(I’m not affiliated, I didn’t get a free device to test for a review, I’m not benefiting from writing this review. I’m just enthusiastic!)

I have been using the device for about two weeks. Broke a crown yesterday. I’m not saying this occured because I’m using this device, but I have had this crown for a long time, and never had any issues with it.
Once I get my new crown, I’ll have to refit my devices. So I will be starting over again.
I understand the idea behind the Oralift. I’ve always felt that the way I hold my jaw has something to do with my 63 year old sad looking bulldog face. I’ve already spent the money and I’ll try it again.
I will also chime in about both the app and the website. The app is pretty awful – it has all my entered sessions dated wrong. I can’t figure out a way to correct that. You can also log into their website, using your access code. I was able to log in a couple of times, but I can’t access the part of the site that actually explains the treatment program. I can only access this through the app, and essentially you have to figure it out yourself.
Not sure this is worth the money.

I am finding the Oralift quite difficult to use. One month in and can only do 10 minutes. I will persevere and hope for good result. The app is very poor and could do with improvement. The only place I could buy this in EU is Amazon as customs charges apply from UK.
