I used this on an Onan Microquiet 4000 generator. It is an exact replacement for the original control board. If you can access the two mounting screws for the board’s bracket and remove them, then this is about a 30 minute job. In my case, it took longer than it should have to replace the old one since the TORX head screws holding the mounting bracket in place could not be accessed with a TORX due to the generator’s placement in the motorhome. I had to chew the heads all to pieces removing the screws with vice grips. I replaced the wrecked screws with hex head screws, so if I ever need to remove the board again, I can.

This was just what I needed to get my generator back in working order. Before I replaced it the unit would run for a few minutes and then shut down. The error code showed that the control board was bad. Sure enough, replacing it cured the problem. Runs like new.

I believe this was listed as “used” because it didn’t come in packaging. However, it looked brand new when I unpackaged it and it has worked flawlessly for a great price!
