One of the best similar loafers I had own so far, exceptional quality and proper shape, without narrowing to the end.
Heavy duty oil- and slip-resistant sole is heavier than on loafers for a casual use, but this has to be expected.

I bought these shoes for my 16 year old son when he got his first job working at a fast food place. He’s been there now over a year and these shoes are still holding up. He was required to wear black, nonskid shoes. He says these really help keep him from slipping on the floor especially when there might be wet spills. They are durable and, considering they are work shoes, still look stylish. He also likes that they are slip on because he’s always running out the door with no time to spare so he just slips into them in the garage and goes. He wipes them clean with baby wipes and they look good as new. And, he tells me they are really comfortable when he has to be on his feet for a longer Saturday shift. I always like buying shoes and clothing on Amazon.com for him because I can find his size instead of going to 10 different stores and if you are not satisfied, Amazon offers free returns for shoes and clothes.

I love these shoes. I’m retired and wear these around our property. They are waterproof! This means I can walk around the property in the dewy mornings without getting my feet wet. I wear these winter and summer for light weight (and sometimes heavyweight) yard work. This is the second pair I’ve owned and I really put them through their paces. They lasted about 2 1/2 years. I buy the size 11 (M). The sizing chart is a little tricky. I have a narrow foot with a high arch. I don’t get anything wide and these are about right. It’s just large enough for me to slip on easily for a quick trip to the mail box. When new, I use a shoe horn, but after a few weeks I can slip my foot in without it, in a pinch. My only criticism is the “waffle” sole. It tends to pack dirt into the sole so I track it into the house, but that’s life in the country.

Bought for my husband as a work shoe. High quality, great for anyone who needs a high quality oil resistant, slip resistant shoe. My husband is a mechanic and it works better than anything he’s worn in the past few years. He’s got high arches and these have worked for him. As described in listing, true to size

These are very comfortable, good-looking shoes. I manage a restaurant and am on my feet all day. These are comfortable shoes. The slip-resistant soles work well and after 4 months are just starting to show a bit of wear around the heel from skipping them on and off. I’ve switched out the insoles only once so far.

When I finally kill this pair, I’ll definitely be getting another.

I bought these TEN DAYS AGO. Thinking they would be a good fit for me as a bartender on their feet for 10-13 hours a day, I assumed these would be a great bargain. I had read good and bad reviews but decided to try my luck. Boy, was I in for a rude awakening.
The day I got them, the shoes were absolutely gorgeous. Shiny, polished, and form fitting, I went into work. After only 8 hours in these shoes, I already felt loosening on the sides. I do not wear these outside of my workplace (I have a separate pair of sneakers I wear on the train/street while I commute to work)
I figured they were just adjusting to their normal size. Again, I was proven incorrect when I worked two shifts back to back, after two days off. 12 hours each. The shoes, continuing to loosen as I walked, left a massive blister on the side of my foot which is still healing, but I had to still call out for a day because of my inability to walk. Whatever soles were used to make these shoes wore out on the 5th or 6th day. Now it just feels like I’m walking on slightly cushioned cement.
The ONLY positive thing I can say is that the non slip sole truly does work. I work in an Italian restaurant behind the bar, so there is no shortage of liquid/olive oil on the BOH floor at any time. These shoes did allow me to walk over any spillage with ease and without the fear of breaking my neck. A small, yet pointless win in an otherwise terribly manufactured pair of shoes.
Please consider sketchers (I know, kids brand, right?) but the quality of the shoe last me 8-9 months (a long time for a bartender) and the cushioning was absolutely terrific.
