I bought this combo kit, and even though I thought the flashlight part was a bit gimmicky it was still an overall good combo deal. I was actually surprised when recently I was using this flashlight, along with another rechargeable flashlight I own, and after a couple hours of working on wiring up a home theater, with both flashlights going, my other flashlight started dimming and this dewalt flashlight just kept going strong. Obviously the dewalt has a bigger battery than my rechargeable one (even with a small standard dewalt battery in it), but the experience suddenly made me very happy about my overall purchase. Nice bright light and just keeps going.
The drill and impact driver are great (I now own two of each), and I mainly ordered this combo to have a second set, since other, cheaper brands I’ve owned have all died.

In the process of converting to DeWalt battery powered tools, purchased this package in Aug, just opened and begin using. Drove a dozen small screws into a board using the driver, 1st battery became weak. Then began drilling with the driver and with less than a dozen small holes drilled, the second battery became weak. Ordering new, bigger batteries. Doesn’t work, I will go back to another manufacturer.
Update: I was not smart enough to engage the battery to the charger. Once it clicked, charges great, appears to work as promised.

this is a Christmas gift. I plan to give this to my son. I am giving 5 stars for value as there are 3 tools in one kit. I can not comment on the other features as I have not used the tools. I am sure there will be 5 stars all around because I know several people with Dewalt tools that love them. I will come back to update my rating once Christmas is over.
