Very durable, great value for the money

These are the best tools money can buy imo. Just as good if not better than any snap on tools.
Greg Beck –
Good balance between the high dollar ($900+) sets and the cheep ($100-) sets.
Ron Lynch –
Have not used yet but looks really nice and heavy much cheaper than Snap On

Awesome set for a millwright.Box came dented but whatever doesn’t effect anything. Big set from 7/8″ – 2-3/8″ 12 point sockets. I bought this for $250 but now there asking $535 which seems to expensive for what it is.

I have not put this 3/4dr set through its paces but love the brand and it sure looks the part as expected. Seems to be one of the few brands that has consistency in the look, feel and quality of their tools. Been using this brand for over 20 years and not broken one single piece and break my Dewalts with ease. Highly recommend GearWrench and GearRatchet!

Nice so far good quality for the $$$$

The 3/4in Socket Set arrived in a very securely wrapped pasteboard box with 3 plastic banding strips to help secure the ‘heavy load’ inside the box. The Metal Toolbox as shown in 2 different photos advertised on Amazon and the Gearwrench website is NOT what was supplied. The Toolbox is a low, flat metal box with a pair of side mounted latches to secure the flip top lid. There was no top mounted handle (as shown in the photos), but instead has a pair of end mounted handles, which given the weight is probably a better solution. The interior of the toolbox is separated to store two rows of sockets reasonably securely. The Extensions, T-Handle and Flex head Breaker bar and the Ratchet are supposed to be stored securely within the toolbox via strategically placed metal dividers, BUT there is nothing to keep them in place if the toolbox is stood up on its back or on its end. Gravity is supposed to keep everything in place, given its overall weight I can understand this solution, but taller dividers would have been better if the toolbox is to be stored in any position other than flat on its back. Overall I am very satisfied with the set and the apparent quality of the tools – the metal toolbox is a bit lacking but overall a good value for the money.
