    I have a GHD flat iron that I’m obsessed with. So when I noticed this, I quickly purchased it. However, it’s the oddest brush. The barrel of the round brush is tiny and the bristles are way too short to grasp the hair which causes burning of the fingers or hand. A flat brush with longer bristles would be ideal. I’m not a beauty editor, but I have to question their thought process designing this brush. It just does not work. A great idea but definitely not well executed. Sadly, with my disappointment I returned and will stick with my flat iron.

    This product is not meant to dry the hair or fully curl it. It is a meant for a different effect/style and gives the results of a professional salon blowout or styling after you visit your hair dresser. See more details below:

    It took me a few tries to figure this product out, give it a shot and I promise it is amazing! I have longer, wavy-thick hair and it worked for me. On my first attempt I had to go over the same sections a few times until I got the hang of it. Once I did it was a breeze, soooo much faster than curling my hair. Definitely will use this when I need a quick touch up or don’t have the time to curl all my hair. My friends even asked if I had just went to the salon or got my hair cut! It provides the look as if you just went to the salon and the stylist gave you a blowout (SEE PICTURES below). It provides GREAT volume, bounce and shine. Really felt like it revived my hair! In times of COVID, I was so happy to receive the complaints that it looked like I just came from the salon! can’t wait to use this more often!

    Would be great for people with lots of layers! Even short -fine/thin hair. I have wavy-thick long hair and it worked great!!

    TIPS:
    +Watch the product videos & tutorials- this was extremely helpful to use the product properly
    +Brush hair fully before using so your hair doesn’t get tangled (if you have longer hair like me)
    +Wrap hair VERY loosely, again it works different than a normal curling iron and will tightening as you pull your hair downward
    +Press and hold the power to turn on/off, a noise will sound to alert you if it is on/off

    This is a brush curler not a dryer. No air coming out of it. It will not burn your hand because the brush part doesn’t get hot. Just the base rod gets hot. It Is fun and doesn’t leave a mark from the clamp like a regular curling iron. It’s a bit hard to get the ends flat but with practice you will get it figured out. Heats up really fast.

    When using this product you must move your hands similarly to when using a roll brush, flat iron or curling wand. I have 3b-3c curls cut into a bob w/fringe as I am growing out a pixie cut from years ago. I am a professional hairstylist so I am very comfortable with different hair tools so for me I did not have an issue using it. I will say it is amazing for quick styling. I used it on clean hair dry hair with minimal product. It’s great if u prep your hair the night before then just wake up use this styler and go. It gives the look of a professional blowout. I separate my hair as I would a blow out and I received alot of compliments. What I like most is the ease of use and minimal heat damage. I can use this and in a few days wash my hair and have beautiful curls again. If you are a busy woman who wants to minimize morning routine this hot brush is perfect. Takes me about 15-20 min.

    This is a fantastic tool for smoothing out my hair quickly. I also sometimes use as a curling wand to give waves and body. I have the Dyson Airwrap which is great in its own way, but this is my go-to tool for styling my hair when it’s dry. I also highly recommend the GHD heat protectant spray. It smells great and lasts a long time.

    The GHD Rise hot air brush has its positives and negatives. I love that it heats up in a flash and appreciate the longer cord! I will say it is a little hard to use at first. It did get tangled up during my first attempts, but once you get the hang of it, it gets easier and easier. My hair had full bounce afterward. Super happy with the results.

    I have curly dyed hair, and i didn’t expect it to work so well. The temperature its just perfect, it doens’t burn my scalp even if i brush it out. It warms up pretty fast and it doesn’t let my ends hard or dry. I’m very happy with this purchase.

    My hairdresser recommended this item… it really works well to eliminate frizz, smooth out and style my hair. I have loads of fine hair in a bob. I have a bit of a wave and this smooths it out.
    I tried a cheaper version, but I burnt myself.
    This one just works really well. I used it while on vacation in Europe as well.
