Legion 9I overheating but working otherwise so long as you’re not gaming on a gaming laptop that was purchased 2 months ago. On-site technician dispatched with ultimate support and now it won’t even power on after the repair. The support provided by Lenovo was send it for depot repair nothing else can be done. So my usable laptop now does not work at all and I will have to be without the system for a week or more if depot repair is the only solution. So glad I upgraded everything and for the additional on-site support. The response by Lenovo is probably what I have the biggest issue with. Instead of assisting the technician to at least return it to functioning again there is nothing that can be done except not have a working laptop for over a week by sending for depot repair. How about provide the technician with the working parts to actually be able to repair the product such as testing the replacement part to remove any variability so you can determine if the issue was induced during the repair or not. Maybe expend any effort to actually assist the technician to resolve the issue. After actually being able to speak to another support person the final resolution is if the parts are available they will be sent within one business day and another technician dispatched so maybe by the second business day. The diagnostic were routinely run using the Lenovo vantage software and never indicated a problem until it began shutting itself off. Judging by the look of the cover inside it doesn’t appear this is a new issue and for reference there was no dust or dirt present. It has only ever been used indoors on a hard flat surface or with a Lenovo recommended cooling pad to ensure adequate airflow in a 74 degree temperature controlled environment. Instead of sending me a new laptop and just swapping the hard drive nope sucks to be you. We already got what we wanted, your money, just a wonderful customer service response. Not a problem for the customer to be put out as long we aren’t and the check cleared. Thanks. Should have just spent a little more and went MSI. You’ve been warned.

This laptop is blazing fast, and I have yet to see the liquid cooling turn on. It handles my games and business work flawlessly.
