Very comfortable and never broke like the old quest 2 one.

I’ve been using the Meta Quest 3 for a while now, and it has truly elevated my VR experience. The visuals are sharp, the processing power is impressive, and the overall performance is smooth and immersive. The library of apps and games is expansive, making it easy to find something new and exciting every time I put the headset on.
However, there are a few drawbacks.
First, the head strap could be more comfortable and adjustable, especially for longer sessions. It doesn’t always provide the best fit, which can be a bit frustrating.
Second, the lack of a physical IPD adjustment slider can be inconvenient. While digital adjustment is available, it doesn’t always allow for precise tuning to individual needs.
It’s also worth noting that despite the device’s high quality, its price is higher compared to previous models and some competitors. This may be a deterrent for some potential buyers, especially those new to VR.
Finally, the Meta Quest 3 doesn’t natively support PC VR. While you can connect to a PC via Oculus Link or Air Link, this might lead to latency or quality issues, which could be a downside for those who want the best possible PC VR experience.
Additionally, the battery life is quite short. I often find myself needing to recharge after just a couple of hours, which can interrupt the experience.
Overall, the Meta Quest 3 is a fantastic VR headset, but it would benefit from a more comfortable strap, a physical IPD adjustment slider, longer battery life, and a more accessible price point. Despite these minor issues, I highly recommend it to anyone looking to dive into virtual reality.

As soon as they were available, I got the Samsung Odyssey and Odyssey+ for the specs. They gave me hundreds of hours of VR fun but I was always keeping an eye on a wireless option. Fast forward to the Quest 3; finally a wireless VR headset that matches specs worth paying the VR price.
Pros:
– Specs are on par with current high quality VR gaming
– The metaVR interface, especially with passthrough, is very nice and intuitive. I LOVE the option to use your hands in place of the controllers.
– Being able to use Steamlink and Xbox cloud natively endlessly expands your options for using the headset rather than limiting you to a proprietary appstore
– Setup is quick and within minutes you are ready to jump in to a game
Cons:
– As most know, the battery is fairly limited, so to do any true VR gaming you will need a battery bank, etc. At minimum it should be 10,000mAh and i try to aim for 30W or more on any cables, hubs, etc.
– If you wear glasses, they will quickly get fogged up. You will need a fan/cool room or a headset fan such as the BoboVR headset for long playing.

The Meta Quest 3 512GB is an incredible device that has completely transformed how I experience gaming and work. The picture quality is outstanding—crisp, vibrant, and incredibly immersive. Every detail in the virtual environment feels lifelike, enhancing the gaming experience to a whole new level. Whether you’re battling in intense games or exploring fantastical worlds, the visuals are simply stunning.
What sets the Meta Quest 3 apart is its versatility. Beyond gaming, it has revolutionized my workflow. The remote desktop feature lets me connect to my work setup seamlessly, and the virtual office space is a productivity dream. Being able to organize my screens and work in an immersive, distraction-free environment has made my workday more efficient and enjoyable.
The 512GB storage ensures plenty of room for apps, games, and work tools, making it perfect for both entertainment and productivity. This device truly bridges the gap between leisure and professional use. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for the ultimate mixed-reality experience!

The Meta Quest 3 (512 GB) is a masterpiece of VR hardware and is a must have for existing VR enthusiasts and newcomers!
The Quest 3 has a thin and comfortable design with an improved weight distribution from the last headset from meta (Quest 2). The lighter headset allows you to play longer without pressure on your forehead.
Personally, I am coming from the Quest 2 and the difference is surreal.
The jump in performance is immediately noticeable. The Quest 3 is powered by the Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 which delivers sharp visuals and fast load times! And the 512 GB storage ensures you have enough space for all the games you desire.
The resolution of the LCD screen is 2064 x 2208 which is 30% more than the Quest 2! Not to mention the AMAZING PANCAKE LENSES! The switch from fresnel lenses on the Quest 2 is amazing. No more having to find the sweet spot when gaming! The pancake lenses were what mainly sold me on this headset.
The mixed reality is extremely fun, although the library is limited. It’s especially fun to switch from the real world to the virtual world. My favourite is using the mixed reality as I walk through my house taking advantage of the hand tracking.
Here is the my main caveat, the battery life is not that long, which is only 2.2 hours on one charge roughly. The mixed reality activities will cut your playtime even shorter. Although you can get around this if you set your brightness low or turn on low battery mode. Another problem I find is the head strap, while the headset itself is comfortable on the forehead, the head strap around your head (Especially the back) can cause you to get uncomfortable at times, at least in my experience.
Overall, for anyone looking to dive into a high end virtual reality experience I truly recommend this headset. While the price may seem high, the value it offers is undeniable. The inclusion of Batman Arkham VR is fun, I have been playing the game so far and it has exceeded my expectations. I hope you found this review helpful.

The Meta Quest 3 is an incredible upgrade to the VR experience! The improved graphics and resolution make everything feel more realistic and immersive. The headset is lighter and more comfortable than its predecessors, which means I can play longer without any discomfort. The setup was a breeze, and the expanded game library offers something for everyone, from intense adventures to relaxing experiences. The mixed reality features are a cool addition, blending the virtual and real worlds seamlessly. If you’re considering VR or upgrading from an earlier model, the Quest 3 is absolutely worth it!

I can’t not give the Meta Quest 3 a 5 star review. Yes, the head strap is comes with is “meh” and you should definitely replace it ASAP (your welcome!) but aside from that minor annoyance, this device is truly incredible. Coming from a Gen 1 HTC Vive, which I eventually upgraded to a wireless solution later, the Meta Quest 3 still blows the Vive out of the water.
Mixed Reality is the future. If this is what the Quest produces now, I can only imagine what we will have available in another 15 years. It’s astounding. If you are on the fence at a $500 price tag please drive down to Best Buy or another electronics store and try it out. You will be blown away.
I also really like that via Virtual Desktop (best solution for now…) I can still play my Steam VR games that I used with the Vive. That was a big selling point was to not have to purchase them again. Some of which I don’t even think are available anymore.
The device itself is sleek, light, and easy to handle. The controllers take a bit to get used to but soon become second nature. The interface is intuitive and easy to use. The games are fun. Some are incredibly fun. Watching movies and shows on a humongous screen is great. This is something that you want in your life. See ya’ll in the virtual world!
