Very pleased with the results! I’m a weekend warrior and wish I could afford a fancy track saw, but they cost twice as much as my job site table saw. This is a great solution – and I’ve got a good dose of OCD. My circular saw can be remounted accurately and without worry, which was my main question. Looking forward to long rip cuts and breaking down plywood with accuracy.

I own a Milescraft circular jig for my router to cut large circles for my wood projects. The quality and ease of use of that tool prompted me to take a chance on their Track Saw guide. I was not in a position to spend over $600 for a dedicated track saw from one of the big manufactures so I opted for the Miles craft unit for under a $100. It turned out to be an excellent purchase. Packaging was superb and the item arrived in excellent condition. The guide is constructed of high quality aluminum and comes with all parts to fit my Porter Cable saw. Instructions are clear cut and made assembly easy. I did have an issue with the track alignment which necessitated a contact with customer service. I received a response within a few hours and they quickly resolved my problem. Customer service from MilesCraft is outstanding as is the quality of this tool. I highly recommend this to anybody who is on a budget and wants a quality track saw. While it doesn’t have the plunge capability of the competition, it does an excellent job for its intended purpose while saving you hundreds of dollars. And if you have any questions on the unit, their customer service is quick to react to solve any questions or issues you may have.

This thing is great. It’s all aluminum so build well and solid, goes together easy. Cuts are straight and smooth.
You can adjust the round pieces on the sled for a zero movement slide but once that’s dialed in you’re all set.
It’s 55″ so a good size for most cuts and it will fit nearly any saw as well.
Comes with the clamps as well which not all track saws even do. If you already have a circular saw and don’t want to pay hundreds on a track saw this is a great option and a great value.

I bought this based on a youtube recommendation by “Stumpy Nubs”. I wish I had clicked the link through his page so he’d get some credit for the sale but I had waited a few days and forgot to go back to the video. I don’t have room for a table saw and his recommendation for this was at just the right time. The guide is good quality and works very well. It took some adjusting to get my old Skil saw on the base but it was not too difficult and works like a charm. HIGHLY recommended, especially if you have a small shop!

I use this with my Porter Cable 7-1/4 saw and it’s great. Set up properly, the cuts are precise and clean. Clearly it’s not as convenient as the plunge based systems by Festool, Makita, Milwaukee and others but it does work if you have a circular saw. I imagine I will have to check the setup each time I use it but the inconvenience is probably worth as much as $600 to $800 saved on the other systems. On the other hand, I have no doubt that Festool, Makita, Milwaukee and others will be more precise and easier to set up. But for occasional use, this is a winner.

First, I was unsure whether my circular saw was going to work. I own a big Makita XSR01, and according to the specs, it wouldn’t work. I contacted Milescraft, and their product manager sent me multiple emails trying to help. He even went down to try a large circular saw he had. In short, they are responsive, extremely helpful, and willing to provide support.
Second, the quality is top-notch. Everything feels sturdy, well-made, and nothing cheap. They include clamps and everything you could need.
Finally and most importantly, it works flawlessly. I bought it to cut plywood in the parking lot since I only own a car. Super easy to use, the saw glides on it, and the cuts are straight and precise. I’ll buy a second track soon to rip full sheets of plywood.
I can’t recommend this product enough!

This track and universal circular saw sled combination work well and at a fraction of the price of a medium priced track saw kit. It is well made, the track and other components are aluminum and all fit together well. I have not noticed any workmanship issues. I will say the plastic caps for the ends of the tracks are not so very great but this has no impact to the cutting as they pretty much just keep the electrical cord from catching the end of the track. The only real complaint I have is the setup instructions are not clear, but there are enough U-tube videos to clear up any confusion. It does not do everything a track saw will do but I just need to cut a straight edge. It works well for that. I hope it proves to be durable. I have only made 6 cuts with it so far, each is straight with clean edges. it is also easy to use after fighting through the set up.

I needed to reduce some 2’x4′, 1/2″ plywood sheets to size for a DIY project. This was slick! Putting the two track pieces together was simple, resulting in a smooth cutting guide. Be careful to not over-tighten the set screws — use the low torque end of the provided hex wrench! The toe on my saw is short, so I added a 1/2″ spacer between front edge of the saw and the saw carrier so both front clamps could be engaged. Solid as a rock. Trimmed the cutting guide edge, per the instructions, for the blade I’ll use with the track set-up and everything worked smoothly. I used the provided clamps to secure the track to the plywood sheets I cut. It didn’t require much pressure to keep things in place; the traction strips on the bottom of the track would probably have been sufficient without the clamps.
All said, it was a great purchase for me. I’m not trying to do cabinet work, but this so much better than trying to free-hand long cuts, or even using a simple straightedge of some sort.

I am a DIY warrior and just used this for a project to expand a shoe cabinet. Increased the depth and added wo more shelves. I used this with a Skil 7 1/4″ circular saw to cut plywood sheets of various thicknesses. Was able to get absolutely straight cuts every time. Easy to use and much better than something like a straight edge. Sliding motion is smooth with no play. Build quality is solid.
