i use drill but prefer other brand way faster speeds. not worth buying vs Metabo which also has a light. this one doesn’t have, only nice feature is has battery lvl indicator, 4 bars is full charge.

Nice kit – maybe my fault but didnt realise I would need an adapter to convert to US voltage when using in UK

I am very pleased with the milwaukee screwdriver. All my other power tools are milwaukee so I decided to try out the screwdriver. It is great for around the house and small jobs. Plenty of power and several torque settings.

I work in low voltage and keep this tool in my backpack for basic jobs. I appreciate having all tools well-organized and easily accessible, and weight is also an important factor for me. Although I usually only use 18V tools for battery compatibility, this tool has become my go-to for smaller tasks like mounting devices on drywall or assembling racks, allowing me to perform basic jobs with minimal friction.
The tool’s form factor felt awkward initially, but I decided to give it a proper shot, and that turned out to be a great decision. Two years later, it feels perfect. I especially love the folding handle and how quickly I can switch bits; it’s pretty light, too. While I can keep it in my pocket when moving around, it’s not ideal due to its size.
I would love to see a self-stopping mechanism in the new version, as that definitely presents room for improvement. In the meantime, I’ve learned to simply release the button and relax my grip to let it stop on its own.
I’m not fond of writing reviews, but I wanted to share my experience in hopes that it might encourage someone else to give this tool a try.

As far as electric screwdrivers go this is my first one. I’ve used an old one purchased through snap-on a couple times and decided to buy one for myself. I’m a Milwaukee guy and have purchased tons of tools from them, so I decided to give this one a go. My coworker saw it, tried it and bought one for himself. He dropped his a couple times off a six foot ladder and the reverse trigger stopped working so he’s already had to replace his.
Other issues I’ve had with mine is the battery. One of the batteries will last me a week and the other only lasts two days. Lame. Also, I haven’t seen this battery size in any big box stores. It’s not a common battery and although I haven’t looked specifically for other tools that use this battery I haven’t seen any when searching Milwaukee’s other tools.
Ergonomically it feels pretty good in my hand. I’m fairly ambidextrous and though it’s clearly designed for a right hand dominant person to use their thumb on the trigger I’ve felt no real inconvenience or major difficulties using it with my left hand both in forward and reverse.
There are two settings 1-more torque less speed and 2-more speed less torque. I use both but find that 2 has nearly no torque to tighten a screw. The positioning of the switch is easy enough to reach but I wish the selector was where the lock/unlock switch is. Although I’ve driven a tech screw through 16 gauge steel with this it took a while and made me miss my impact drill.
Size is pretty good, and the one handed quick release 1/4” chuck is great, lift the collar to remove the bit holder and just pop a different one in, no need to lift the collar again to seat the new one. This came in handy as the job I’m on needs a constant switch from flat head to Phillips.
The clutch works nicely and the torque on 1 is good enough to tighten screws or small nuts down pretty securely.
Overall I’m pretty impressed with this tool. Battery issue aside. Although my buddies breaking has me a little concerned with the long term durability of this screwdriver, Milwaukee usually stands 100% behind their products so I trust that if something happens they’ll make it right. 🤞🏼

I began building my Milwaukee platform years ago with a drill/impact driver set through and on-line rebuilder that was a very good deal. Once I had their batteries and chargers it made sense to stick with the Milwaukee theme. My experience with other brands diminished quickly but I really don’t have very bad things to say about any of them. This new 2101-22 kit with the driver, charger and two batteries is also a very good deal at this price. The tool itself is heavy in the hand and easily shows that it lives up to the build quality we’ve come to expect from Milwaukee. I can tell that it will have no problem surviving the rough and tumble of my operations. The safety lock, controls and battery access are intuitive and ergonomic. I’m already reaping benefits from the articulating handle that gets me places where I would need an adapter with other tools. Highly recommended. Enjoy!

This is my go to for most small project where a drill/impact wrench is overkill. The batteries, while proprietary, come in a pair (so you can have one charging) and they last forever. I only wish I had gotten this thing sooner!

Okay okay so I dabble in the world of rc cars. One would say this is a tool for extreme enthusiasts, what I know is it’s easy to control and stops at the perfect torque to hand finish with a mip driver. This is an awesome tool and if you’re in the market you should get one!
