After all, it is a Milwaukee, but it works great. After buffing and waxing a car, truck, and boat, my back doesn’t work nearly as well as the buffer. Being cordless allows you to work much faster than dragging a cord around. You just need to have 3 batteries so one is always charging. 5.0 ah battery lasts about 15-20 minutes.

Exactly as described – Milwaukee Quality and performs well

    Good stuff

I bought this to polish the paint on a small airplane.

The polisher worked great and was easy to operate but it used a lot of battery. The box says one battery to do a car but it took two 5AH, two 9AH and two 12AH batteries to do the plane. I can’t imagine a single battery would do any car…

I opted for the 6″ 21mm throw, my coworker has the 5″ 15mm throw. They more less work identical, just a personal preference and application preference. I 💯 percent recommend and also recommend using the 3M orbital polishing system with this tool. Makes your life much easier.

  6. Craig Burk

Great polisher. Lite weight, good finish buff. Plan on buying another. Thanks

Love this battery operated buffer, it works as good as any buffer but being battery operated keeps you from dragging cords etc out.

Update: Ordered a replacement and vendor send another mismarked polisher – see the pic – RPM max is 5100 and it has the small 5″ backing plate but the label says 2685-20. Should say 2684-20. I sent this one back and ordered one from Home Depot – got the right item – 6″ backing plate and max 4500 RPM –

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS VENDOR – THEY HAVE SWITCHED THE LABELS ON TOOLS AND YOU ARE NOT GETTING WHAT YOU ORDERED. THEY ARE NOT AN AUTHORIZED MILWAUKEE DEALER. I FILED A COMPLAINT WITH AMAZON.

The 2685 model comes with a 6″ backing plate and RPM from 2400-4500
The 2684 model comes with a 5″ backing plate and RPM from 2650-5100 per the item description and the Milwaukee website.
The item received has a sticker that says 2685 but it came with a 5″ backing plate and RMP from 2650-5100 (see photo). Sending it back to see if they will send a genuine item.
