I thought these were for kiddies until my plumber used one on a job at my place. He said, this is a must have tool. So I bought one. Wow, was he right. I use it for all kinds of small jobs. I bought a bunch of different tools for it. I love it. It’s my go-to tool for any job now. With this and a cordless drill I can conquer the world.

I bought this taking a risk that it was less than what was described or at least on the low end of what was described. I opened the package to find a 5 AH battery instead of a 2 AH that was expected. The bag and charger was a bonus being neither was in the description. All these aspects made this a great deal. The toolless blade changing is very easy to use and holds the blades extremely firm. The vibration of these tools is usually very bad, but this tool is quite dampened to use without heavy gloves. I’ll be using this cordless tool much more often than my corded oscillating tool.

I have never used one of these multi-cut tools before. A great addition to my toolbox, fantastic for cutting odd shapes in plastic, wood or drywall. Not the best tool for cutting bolts, hard on blades even carbide and not very fast. Other than that a great tool.

I have had opportunity to use this a little for a few different things – scraping glue from old flooring up, plunge cutting hardwood flooring for patches, trimming out electrical box holes in drywall, nail and screw cutoff, fitting tight spots with crown molding boards. Very versatile tool, has been great.
Downside – the blades are not cheap, and I have found that they are just about single-use products (depending on what you are cutting). the tool does vibrate a bit, but not bad – you have to let the tool do its job. I was trying to force it and go too fast or push too hard and it smokes instead of cutting. go slow and it works like a charm. Even on old oak flooring!
I have MANY m18 and fuel tools from Milwaukee and I am rarely disappointed.
