Some major areas that are important on the drill press are made out of plastic and it is very flimsy when drilling. It doesn’t drill consistent and drifts making inaccurate results.

I use this with the RYOBI 12V Cordless Rotary Tool. It was easy to assemble and is helpful with what I need it for. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again. There are two modifications I would suggest for later models.
The first is the vacuum port. It attaches to the hose on my shop vac in the garage, but does not attach to the hose on my in-house vacuum as the user manual says it does (not a big deal, just wanted to point out in case you don’t have a shop vacuum).
The second issue…and this is a big one…is the sanding table. The rotary tool doesn’t sit directly in the middle of the center hole. I’m not sure if this is an issue with the specific item that I received, but after assembling and disassembling, adjusting and readjusting the entire Hobby Kit, my rotary tool still sits dangerously close to the backside of the hole. That would be fine by itself, but the other problem with it is that the table doesn’t lock in place. I was using the one of the drum sanding attachments and didn’t realize the table had slid forward until I saw my material smoking. I cut the power immediately and realized what happened, but it was too late and I melted the backside of the hole.
