It has plenty of power and torque to complete any household job. It’s also a lot lighter than the 18v drill it replaced.

A great electric drill. I’m very happy with this purchase. I’ve started replacing aging power tools with Ryobi products, they seem well designed, rugged and get the job done. This product arrived the next day; my only observation was the drill was packed loose in the box with minimal padding. It appeared brand new, with no marks etc.

I have a few Ryobi batteries and these drill has been a nice addition to my arsenal of Ryobi products. All of their products consistently perform well and last forever.

Works great, I keep it handy because I use it frequently. Needs a good battery, of course, but the tool is excellent.

Started using Ryobi One+ equipment over 10 years ago, my only regret was not getting a drill. This thing is great, quick, easy, 2 speeds and perfect. A steal at $38.

I replaced an old craftsman portable drill and was very pleased with the amount of power and battery life that this drill provides. The 4AH Lithium Ion Battery charges quickly and holds enough power to do a lot of work without being bulky. Nice chuck that is easy to use and the drill has a ratcheting release that can be set to fine tune the amount of torque delivered to the screw when doing jobs that you don’t want to “over drive” into softer material. It uses the same battery as all of the other One+ tools and is a welcome addition to my tool set. The light could be located better and i wish that there was a spot to store a couple bits for everyday use. Otherwise, it is a nice tool and good choice for around the house.

I bought this one to replace the one I worn out. It lasted YEARS. My only complaint is they shipped it in an unpadded plastic bag. Luckily this thing is built like a tank

I’ve used and abused my first Ryobi drill/ driver I bought 5 years ago. It still works as new. I’ve been thinking about buying a backup because things always die when you need it the most and mine is, well used, beyond it’s normal life.
So over the last few months I have watched for a special price on just the drill as I’ve got several Ryobi products now and several batteries and chargers that all interchange so just a spare bare drill/driver was my goal. Ryobi is selling more products without accessories at great prices and finally found this for a stupid low price. Maybe I should have bought two.
Great company, great prices, excellent quality.

I already had several similar drill/drivers purchased from HD on sale. I like to have one nearby for quick fixes in our large house. This same drill/driver sells at HD for $59. It is NOT brushless but still has plenty of power for drilling and installing/removing fasteners. The good points are that it is light weight, depending on which battery you use. The only complaint I have about the purchase is that it was delivered in a plastic bag, not a protective box. It did come with a manual but the drill could have been easily damaged if it had been dropped in such a flimsy delivery method. I highly recommend this purchase if you already have a Ryobi battery stash like I do. Ryobi does have a decent warranty for manufacturers problems.
