My pet sitter took the bull by the horns and was able to “sand off” the bottom of my cupboard while I was gone so my new refrigerator would slide under it. The refrigerator had been in the middle of the kitchen for months, because my adult sitter* was unable to come supervise.
*adult sitter – friend who comes to make sure the 71 year old is safe while climbing on ladders and step stools doing things best left to a handyman or someone younger

Preface this review with the fact that this is my first oscillating multi tool I’ve owned but I’ve briefly used a DeWalt and used a lot of other battery and corded tools. Just got done putting this tool through it’s paces on a rather finicky project that had me using it on a lot of wall plaster, dinner drywall , 2×4, some finished cabinet ply and even a nail or two. I bought the tool bc I couldn’t see how I’d effectively do the job without it and it functioned exactly as I’d hoped. The tool is balanced well with a 4Ah battery and I did the whole project on one battery so it seems pretty efficient. It cut well using Ryobi blades but again I don’t have much to compare with there. The tool has adjustable speeds and with a fresh or lightly used blade I never felt the need to go above 4 of I think 6. Shows that I don’t even know the highest setting. All in all I’m very pleased, I had the batteries already so buying this as tool only was significantly cheaper than other brands as tool only and I frankly didn’t notice any substantial difference in my limited exposure to the DeWalt vs Ryobi. The one tiny gripe I have is that the on off switch is a bit sticky and it’s not always easy to find it with your fingers and get it on or off with out looking at it. Working on this project in a very tight under counter space where I was occasionally moving the tool around a lot and repositioning just to get the thing turned off felt a bit clunky vs if I could have felt the switch position and turned it off blind. This may just be my familiarity with the tool though.

It’s not a tool I use very often, but when I need it there’s no alternative. At about half the price of the big name brands it’s a great addition to the tool shelf.

Easy to operate, light weight not too noisey a real time saver

If you have the battery packs, this is a must have addition to your Ryobi family. Makes light work of tricky projects.

I left a not so good review on this Multi-Tool a few days ago, I’m changing my review to 5 stars because even though it was used, it works Great! One of the blades was clearly used to cut something with that completely chew it up. But I had already purchased other cutting blades for it and it works perfect. The tool itself looked to be new, but the blades were used, it came in the original box with a paper wrapping and the box was taped closed. So, if you’re curious as to not want to purchase from this company, don’t hesitate, they have great prices and the products work very well. I’ll definitely be purchasing from them again.

This thing had held up to a lot of abuse. No issues no loss of power or function.

This is the 3rd Ryobi multitool I’ve owned. They have all died a premature death. Sellers refuse a return after 6 months; Ryobi refuses to help other than telling me to mail the tool to a service center at my expense and wait an indeterminate amount of time for them to maybe fix it; I even bought the insurance plan on this one but Asurion said “still covered by seller or manufacturer, contact them”.
I’m a contractor and use these tools every singe day. I don’t have time for broken tools, companies deflecting on warranty coverage, nor do I have the capacity to just be out tools for weeks on end.
If I didn’t already own 12 Ryobi batteries and 14 other Ryobi One+ tools, I’d switch to DeWalt tomorrow.
