When ordering this I thought it was not going to be super good because I read some bad reviews but after using it for a few days, this is by far the best monitor I’ve ever used even though it is like one of the first high hertz monitors I’ve ever used. The color is nice, setup is easy, and it doesn’t feel cheep at all. The leg is some type of metal and has a weight to it. And the monitor is big and Feels very well made. I Would absolutely recommend to anyone trying to get into competitive gaming or something layer back.

So far there is nothing i am unsatisfied with. I use it primarily for gaming and the 165hz refresh rate is perfect for my pc’s output on demanding titles. The color blows my mind sometimes. It can look as clear as looking out of a window. It has great tilt range and plenty of ports and comes with a displayport cable, only 3ft which might be short for some people but my pc is close to the monitor so works for me. The interface on the monitor has a lot of great features and is simple to use. Overall the quality is amazing. The things weighs very little compared to other monitors ive had.

Added this screen to my sons gaming set up as a back up screen but he uses it as his main one now. Great quality for the price

The monitor itself function perfectly fine. Some ghosting but not too much; good especially that the price point that its offered at. Where this monitor TRULY shines is in its durability. I don’t know what they made this thing out of, but it’s practically indestructable. I’ve dropkicked, punched, and headbutted the monitor, and the panel just won’t break. If Nokia made a monitor, this is the product that they would put out.

Great monitor. Very bright. Well packaged. No problems with delivery. Speakers have great sound quality. The screen colors and contrast as well as clarity are top notch. Highly recommend for the price.

  6. D.R. Usual

I’m totally loving this monitor. It’s a heck of a lot more efficient price than others of the same size, and it works great with my Surface Pro 8 — I have this and one other external monitor plugged in via HDMI, and the screen extension across all three monitors works perfectly.

First, the Sceptre is great for spreadsheet work. 34 inches of Excel means I can from column A to about column ZZ, it seems like. But even better is when I’m using software like Adobe InDesign or Adobe Photoshop. All those floating windows that can crowd your workspace? They’re distributed throughout this monitor quite happily, leaving my work area fully visible.

It works great for Minecraft. I almost feel like I have peripheral vision when the creepers come gliding in from the sides. I can’t tell you how it does with the more demanding animation of a first person shooter, because I haven’t played any of those, but I love the screen real estate for something like Minecraft or Age of Empires.

Finally, I use this with TeamViewer when I tunnel into my work machine at my office. I have multi-monitor there, too, and since the two monitors on my desk at work are the same size, I can easily fit two TeamViewer windows side by side on this Sceptre, seeing both work screens on one here at home.

Totally pleased with this, and I feel like I got great value compared to similar monitors from other manufacturers with $400 to $700 price tags.

Es un buen monitor, me gustó que la base se siente sólida

Let me start by saying I snagged this monitor on sale for a little over $200 and for that price, it’s not a terrible monitor. However, in the world of curved monitors, this is definitely an intro monitor but for some that might be fine.

Pros: Great price for a 34 inch curved monitor. Easy to set up, use and navigate settings with the control knob located on the bottom of the monitor. Plenty of preset picture settings for users that don’t customize their setup. It’s not bad for an everyday user surfing the web.

Cons: Lacks depth, not nearly as vibrant as your higher end gaming monitors. The RBG light on the back is absolutely useless, it’s so dim that you can’t even see it’s reflection on the wall in a pitch black room (this was a massive fail, especially for gamers that enjoy RBG lighting. Custom settings could be better with additional options lacking compared to other monitors.

  9. AmazingPurchases

For some reason I thought this monitor was 4k but it’s actually ultra 1440P. That may not be a problem for you depending on your needs. The screen is pretty good quality. The base is like steel and it comes with a good quality screwdriver for assembly. The high refresh rate is great for 1440p gaming. The monitor has good color quality, and the extra wide screen adds a little something the mutli-media experience. I returned the monitor and got an OLED tv instead, but it wasn’t because of the monitor being a disappointment.

  10. Reily

The curved screen took some time to become accustomed to. Now, I am trying to figure out how I worked on a smaller flat-screen monitor for so long. The extra real estate is great! If you’re a MAC user, “Stage Manager” is a perfect companion to this large screen. It allows having multiple programs open but off to the side, so to speak. You can drag them on and off the screen as needed. The plug-and-play setup was easy, with no additional adjustments.

My only complaint is the smaller print size. At the highest resolution, the print is smaller than on other screens I’ve used. Things get fuzzy on lower resolutions that increase the size of the print. To accommodate this, I use more accessibility settings on my MAC to enlarge and put bold elements on the screen. Overall, this is a good value and a good product.
