    My first order of this product was great and it really worked, so I bought two more tubes and added it to my Amazon subscription list. However, the 2nd order I got didn’t work at all. It is a thicker and whiter liquid compares to the first one I bought. It leaves either a white powder (if you apply a little too much) or a plastic tape appearance on your face when it dries out. Many hours after the application when it gets really dry, it actually creates more wrinkles on the areas where you apply the product.

    I read various reviews on how to make it work better, including to blend it with the sunscreen/foundation or pat the areas with damp fingers to smooth the white powder appearance, etc. but none of these tricks works. Needless to say, I am very disappointed and I don’t understand why my first order worked flawlessly-it was light, easy to apply, and really smoothed the wrinkles but the 2nd order is a completely flop? I wonder if the company changes its ingredients but whatever they did, it messed up the formula so bad that I could no longer use it. I just canceled my subscription and probably would not buy it again.

    This product Titans the under eye bags faster and better than plexaderm without leaving any dry crusty film! After using for 2 days I immediately ordered more! What a great product as I was scheduled to have eye surgery but I will use this everyday instead 🙂

    Despite the non makeup limitation I decided to try it but applied it, let it dry and smooth out wrinkles an hour or more before applying YSL. And I stopped putting makeup on my chin. The only place Instatox does very little is deep lip lines. . I am sad about that but it helps small lines in cheeks and eyes and chin. I am satisfied but will hunt for lip line help until I have an acid peel.

    I bought this hastily after a friend tried it on me and another friend, both of us with major eye bags. The eye bags disappeared, it was amazing. Well….I quickly discovered it’s not that easy to make this stuff work. You have to apply on clean, dry (non moisturized) skin and keep your face still for 3 minutes or more till it dries. This means not only don’t make any expressions, but don’t bend your neck or anything.

    As it dries, you feel it pulling your skin tight. Even after you it dries you cannot apply foundation or cover up on top of it without being VERY delicate and taking a long time about it so as not to disturb the “stuff.”

    There is definitely a learning curve. If you apply too much, it dries with crusty edges and looks like you put Elmer’s glue on your face. If too little, your bags don’t go away.

    I only use this when I go out on a special occasion, because it’s a lot of effort. I wish I hadn’t spent $50 on it because I’ll never use this all up. Moral: Don’t drunk shop on Amazon!

    This product works amazingly well, ESPECIALLY if you have eye bags. Do I have eye bags? Dang straight, I do…and they’re hereditary (gee, thanks Mom 🙄). But until I can afford plastic surgery – which will be next to never (thanks, Biden) – this will do the trick. I swear – this can take 15 YEARS off your appearance. No joke. I experimented with this to see, too. Don’t believe me? Well check this out: I went to the same type of outing, same people, same time, same makeup, etc. However, one time I used Instatox & one time I didn’t.
    WITH product: I got compliments & big smiles all around
    WITHOUT product: People were asking me if I was tired, not feeling well, overall concern.
    What did I learn?
    1. I’m getting older by the millisecond
    2. My bags are the size Louis Vuitton luggage satchels
    3. I look as tired as I feel (surprise, surprise)
    Otherwise, some IMPORTANT NOTES to consider:
    * A little goes a long way with this – less is more (which is good b/c it’s expensive)
    * Product is NOT buildable; you CANNOT apply more b/c layering it results in whitish gray patches, stickiness and cracking
    * Play with it a few times before an important event – the Annual Christmas Party is not the time to first try it out
    * Let it dry completely WITHOUT making any facial expressions (I use a small fan and/or a stiff card I stash in my vanity drawer just for this
    * If you didn’t apply enough (or, even worse, missed a big spot), try using a gel roller like Neutrogena or Garnier to apply a thin coating and let dry again…DO NOT BLOT

    Anyway, I hope this helps y’all! It’s sooooo much better than the products from years ago that left you with conspicuous white, alligator scale-like splotches!!

    Was hoping to have great results like some reviewers but no such luck. The results were pretty good at first but the temporary firming lasted only about an hour or 2. Disappointing.
    I have tried the Instant FirmX by Peter Thomas Roth, Plexaderm, and Westmore 60-Second Eye Effects. If I had to rate this it would be bottom of the list for longevity and effectiveness. But #1 for price value. It’s the least expensive one if you want to try a temporary firming cream. In terms of general performance it works the same as the other ‘firming’ creams I listed. It does have some actual skincare ingredients in it, which is nice as most others do not.
    1. It can only be applied on clean dry skin with no serums or creams or it will not ‘firm’
    2. Can’t be used with liquid makeup
    3. It will leave a white residue if too much is used
    4. Must not move the areas where applied for at least 3 minutes
    Some women have liked this much better than others out there so it effectiveness seems to be based on individual skin type. I like it and will continue to use it, but I won’t purchase again.
