I recently installed the Tyger Auto T1 Soft Roll-up Truck Bed Tonneau Cover on my 2021 Chevy Silverado, and I couldn’t be happier! The installation was a breeze—everything lined up perfectly, and I had it on in under 30 minutes.

The cover fits my 5’10” bed like a glove and looks fantastic. It provides a sleek, low-profile appearance that really enhances the overall look of my truck. I love how easy it is to roll up and access the full bed when I need to transport larger items. Plus, the soft material is durable and has held up well against the elements.

I’ve noticed a significant reduction in wind noise while driving, and it also helps improve fuel efficiency. The security it provides for my gear is an added bonus.

Overall, this tonneau cover is a great investment for anyone looking to protect their truck bed and enhance functionality. Highly recommend it!

I like the tonneau cover to keep my stuff dry and out of weather

Bought this for a 6’6″ GMC Sierra. It fit perfect, and was very easy to install, took a total of 15 minutes. Seals very nicely, and I have not seen a drop of water in the bed, since I put it on. I have the multipro tailgate and am able to open the inner gate without any trouble, but do have to lift the cover slightly to get it to close. If I just open the entire tailgate, it does not interfere when closing. Very nice product and has held up very well for over 2 years.

Easy to install and looks good. Hasn’t rained yet, so don’t know how well it will hold back water.

Came quickly and was easy to install. Hopefully it will last. Only time will tell.

I bought this tonneau cover for my 2020 Silverado 1500 RST with 5’8″ bed. It’s my first truck and therefore my first tonneau cover, and I was looking for something of decent quality for a good price. I purchased based on the positive reviews and also have a friend who has one on his 2019 F-150.

Let me first start by saying that when I placed the order I used the fitment verification on Amazon’s site and it said that this product fit my vehicle. The product listing mentioned 2019-2020 Chevy Silverado / GMC Sierra with 5’8″ bed. About a week later when I went to check the order status, I noticed that Amazon changed their product page to indicate that it only fits 2019 model. The fitment verification was saying that this product is not compatible with my vehicle.

I was pretty annoyed by this, and I even submitted an inquiry at Tyger’s website to find out for sure. Their reply was as follows: “This item is currently under our 2nd stage safety and fitment test for 2020 models, it will take a little time so we changed the fitment for now.” Amazon did say that they would allow me to return it if it did’t fit, so I decided to try it anyway. The box it came in did indicate that it fits 2019-2020 model years, so I’m not sure why Tyger back-tracked on 2020 fitment.

I installed it today, and it does indeed fit my 2020 Silverado perfectly.

Installation was a breeze, it took about 30 minutes. The cover appears to be made of high-quality vinyl. The frame appears sturdy. It snows where I live and I’m hoping it won’t have any trouble holding up to the weight of a few inches of snow a few times per winter.

The cover comes with a piece of weather stripping that is designed to go on the front edge of the box, immediately behind the cab, and prevent water from coming in. With the way the cover needs to be positioned front to back, I’m worried that there may still be a gap between the weather stripping and the rubber seal on the bottom front edge of the cover. If I were to do it again, I would place this weather stripping more toward the rear of the vehicle rather than in the middle of the front bed rail. I’ll keep my eye on it and if I have to adjust it I will.

I’ll try to post a long-term update in a few months after living with it for a while.

Bought this for my 2024 Chevy Silverado 1500 Trail Boss with the 5’9″ (69 inches) bed.

Initial thoughts: It was well packaged, arriving in a well sealed box. Opening the box the entire cover was placed in a nice bag. Once the bag was removed, all the parts were folded up neatly into the cover. The front and back clamps for the cover were already in place and the only extra parts that were there were the weather stripping for the front of the bed (there were 2 included since some people complained about the thickness and not getting a good seal), extenders for the knobs, and pads for clamps where they contact the side of the bed. I did not use the pads or extenders for my installation.

I unfolded it in my kitchen and inspected the parts and the function prior to watching the installation video (just google Tyger Cover and look for your version, mine was the T3). A short video showed how to line it up, install the front clamps and safety hooks, and then the back clamps.

I did the entire installation in about 20 minutes, including putting down the weather strip and lining it up and securing all the clamps. Installation was very easy and it fit nicely in my truck.

Overall it seems well built and should suit the purposes I wanted for now, that being keeping anything I throw in the back dry and keeping the snow out of the truck bed in winter. Clearly, this is a vinyl cover and will not offer any sort of security, so if that’s a concern, this isn’t the cover for you.

*** Some of the things I had very minor concerns about but not enough to dock it any stars (given the price):

1). Where the unit folds, the vinyl is out of shape, and you can see the ‘hump’ looking at it from the side. I’m hoping that over time this will relax and become more flat. You might be able to see it in one of the photos.

2). One thing that I don’t like personally, is that you can not fold up the last section. So, in order to get access to the whole entire bed, you have to basically take it off completely. The clamps for the front part don’t allow you to fold up the entire cover against the back window like some others do. I don’t see this as a major issue, but if you’re constantly loading large items that require full bed access, you’ll have to take this off completely to do so.

3). May not be a concern yet, but I wonder if it will be in the future – The knobs are plastic and felt like they might snap if you put too much pressure on them or if you use them on days when it’s extremely cold. Maybe they’ll be OK, but during installation, I could easily tell that I could snap them if I forced them too tight.

In general, I’m happy with this purchase and I hope it lasts a while, until I can afford to upgrade to a solid one that can hold some weight. For now, really just wanted to keep my items in the back dry, and keep the weather out of the truck (plus it looks nicer).

Price and ease of installation was important in this purchase and it was knocked out of the park.

The gap for the foam at the front of the cover, the foam supplied is too thin, needs to be doubled up to seal properly. ( Minor issue) mine fell out a day after install. Only other thing is the tension blocks are stuck. Fit and finish are excellent!
