I purchased this kit because I have some Ridgid tools that I was not happy with. They seemed to be good tools, but the battery life was short. Even though I have lifetime warranty with them, I got tired of going through the routine of taking the tool (now) to Home Depot, sending it in, waiting for evaluation. and going back to the store to pick it up.
Milwaukee has a better reputation than Ridgid and DeWalt and Ryobi. They’re better tools.
The only complaints I have are the length of the warranty on the tools and batteries, and the other kits they offer. All their other kits offer the same impact driver and the 1/2″ hammer drill in the kits with other tools. If I want 2 other kits because of the other tools, I will wind up with 3 impact drivers and 3 1/2 ” hammer drills. I wish they’d put together some other kits.
The drill and impact driver I bought are quite powerful, although the “forward/off/reverse” switch location is bad, it’s too easy to accidentally hit it and turn off or reverse the driver.

Did a lot of research on my own (not knowing anything about tools) and finally decided on this drill set. Bought as a gift for my bf and he was blown away. He wanted a drill set for some time and confessed that he actually had this brand in mind. But he was very impressed with this set. Loves the hard case and the started going off in “man speak” about the features. I’m so happy.

Seguro habrás visto ya reseñas de estos taladros en YouTube. Milwaukee es conocida como una de las mejpres marcas de heramientas eléctricas. Este taladro en especial es el mejor taladro rotomartillo de 18V en cuestión de torque (1,200 lbs-in) y tamaño (mucho más compacto que otros taladros de 18V).
Es como tener la furia de Zeus en tus manos!

El taladro tiene 3 modos:
– Taladro
– Rotomartillo
– Atornillador (con cluch electrónico de 12 posiciones).
El taladro tiene 2 velocidaded en su engranaje (1 para velocidad media y alto torque, 2 para velocidad alta y torque medio).
El chuck o mandril es de acero y ajustable a mano. El clutch es electrónico, lo que concentra el control de velocidad en el gatillo, en manos del usuario. A mi me gusta esto, otros preferirán el clutch mecánico.
El sistema de control es el chip RedLink (o algo así), y transfiere más potencia al taladro deoendiendo de la batería, además de inckuir toda clase de protecciones y optimización de la energía usada.
La luz esta en la parte baja del mango, arriba de la batería, lo que permite iluminar mejor el aréa de trabajo.
Durabilidad:
En cuanto a durabilidad, su construcción es muy sólida y este modelo es reconocido como uno para uso extra-rudo, extremadamente durable, tomando en cuenta las miles de horas de uso acumuladas de varios usuarios.
Atornillador de impacto:

Es compacto, pero extremadamente poderoso. También reconocido como mejor en su clase.
Si se quiere reducir el peso sugiero usar las baterías de compacta 3.0 A/h.

The combo work perfectly. If I have any complaint it would be that the case doesn’t have space for a third battery. For my purposes I would have preferred the handle eliminated and that space used for storage for another battery even if it’s not included in the kit.

I use this kit daily at my job and it has been fantastic. Battery life is great, and both the drill and impact have a great amount of power. I use the drill mostly drilling out broken fasteners and it has never let me down. The impact gets used for nuts, bolts, self tappers, etc. Very rarely do I find a fastener it cannot break free, within reason. I also love that I can charge my 12v batteries without having to use two chargers. Overall a huge win.

Estoy muy satisfecho con el desempeño de estas herramientas, para uso en el hogar cubrirá todas las necesidades y la mayoría de tareas en uso automotriz. La potencia en general esta sobrada para los usos del hogar pero es mejor tener mayor poder disponsible para un desempeño mayor en caso de necesitarlo.
Las baterías pueden resultar algo pesadas después de trabajar más de 10 15 minutos continuos pero la comodidad de estar sin cables lo vale.
Recomiento totalmente este kit de herramientas.
