Update June 6 2020: I’m getting ready to buy another one of these because the first one served me so well. Complaints about quality of latches and other hardware fall on deaf ears for me, as I never once had a problem with any of that after two years. This included numerous 4-6 hour trips at Interstate speed, as well as hauling all manner of cargo, rolling up the cover and securing it back down, the works. And never once the slightest water leak, in high-pressure car washes or thunderous downpours. In my experience these are solid truck bed covers at a bargain price. Spend $700-plus if you want, I really don’t need to. (My original review follows.)

Installed easily enough, snugs down easy, appears secure on the truck (2007 Ram 1500 Quad Cab, 6.5′ bed). The clips are plastic as noted by other reviewers, but they seem sturdy enough. I’m not sure lightweight aluminum/alloy would be a whole lot better. I spent considerable time getting the rails lined up just right, so it locks down solid.

After locking it down I tighten up the sides — I pull the velcro loose and tug each side good and tight. That gives it a nice smooth appearance and makes sure there is excellent velcro contact all the way up and down.

So far everything is fine. I’ve only rolled it up a couple of times, don’t expect to have to do that very often, so I’m not greatly concerned about excess wear-and-tear on the plastic tabs or slots. It unlocks/pops loose easily, is very easy to roll up and the wrap-around straps hold it down good enough.

When rolling it back down over the bed, it’s important to make sure each end of the support slats goes down inside the rails. That is also very easy to do when I’m standing in the bed rolling it out.

ONE SPECIFIC ISSUE and the SOLUTION: My bed liner has a lip over the front rail, plus a tailgate piece that comes up over the tailgate. The sides are bare metal, not covered. So what happened was I had a thin gap between the rails and the truck. It was also a little difficult closing the tailgate after I locked down the tonneau cover. So I bought a 30′ roll of 1-1/2″ x 1/4″ neoprene foam strip ($25) to fill in the gaps on each side. It works perfectly. I didn’t expect a super-watertight fit, but the foam strip sealed it all up very nicely. And I can close the tailgate without any real trouble.

Bought “Used – Like New” through Prime and it arrived in like-new condition.

For under $300 this cover is nice. Fits my 24’ Ram 1500 perfectly. Sturdy material, quality construction and very easy to install. Ran it thru a touchess carwash and it let water inside the top of the tailgate.

Es sencilla de instalar aunque las instrucciones no lo son tan claras, hay videos de la marca en su sitio que ayudan a instalarla, por el momento considero que es buena, habrá que ver cuánto tiempo dura el material.

Got this for my 2025 Ram 1500 with a 5’7” bed. It fit perfectly and was easy to install with just a wrench, screwdriver and a knife (knife to cut weather stripping). Took about 15 min to install and was probably the easiest tonneau that I’ve installed. Packaging was nice, instructions were simple, the cover looks good and seems sturdy. Time will tell if this was a good purchase but first impressions are positive.

Installing it was easy to as I said earlier and can be done by 1 person since the railing sits on top of the bed rails. The track (rails) of the cover come with weather stripping installed but they provide 2 additional foam strips should there be a height difference between the bed rails and the front of the bed near the cab.

Driving with it I didn’t notice any extra noise even at highway speeds (70+ MPH).

The latch is a bit different than other covers that I’ve used in the past an instead of a latch on one side there is a cable that can be pulled from either side.

The supports that are attached to the cover have a slight bow to them that should aid in shedding water .
The cover has a curve in the edge closest to the cab that matches the shape of the bed and cab.

I installed this on a 2023 Ram 1500 Classic Warlock, quad cab, 6’4” box, the fit is good. I was between this and the Gator ETX, went with this one because I’ve installed this one before on my old Ranger years ago and it’s held up nicely, and this one sits on top of the rails, rather than inside the rails and flush with the rails like the Gator does. I like the look of it on top of the rails better, and in theory it should keep water out better. It held up just fine to an inch of rain the other and remained fairly dry inside. The only way water is getting in is more of a Ram design flaw, the tailgate rail indents toward the bed, so water will naturally go down into the bed under the cover from that point.

It’s a great looking, durable, easy to install, easy to operate, cover, at a very good price. Highly recommend.

Perfect fit. Excellent value. Easy installation. I would recommend to all my friends and family!

I’m very impressed with this bed cover. Install took about 1 hour while going slow and following directions. It looks and feels very nice. It was packaged great and has excellent fit and finish. I previously had a hard rough country tri fold and it was complete garbage. This is a fraction of the cost and much better functionality and quality. I love the ability of being able to roll it up and use the full bed length without having to remove it.

  9. Jon

I love it, it is easy to roll up when needed. perfect so far, we will have to wait till winter comes and see if it stays dry. Excellent price, and easy to install. Thanks Amazon

Despite being fairly heavy, due to the solid construction, this tri-fold has proven to hold up three times longer than all others I’ve had in the past. I decided to go with Tyger for this truck, too. I couldn’t be happier with it. Very little water gets in and I park it on a slight angle with the tailgate elevated. Easy install, as long as lifting the tonneau up into the truck is feasible for you. Not having a rail system with this setup makes it perfect for those times where you just want to remove it quickly and easily to fit things that require the entire bed space. The third of the cover closest to the cab remains in place unless the tonneau is fully removed. Initial install took me (experienced) about 25 min to get exactly how I wanted it. Full removal is about 2.5 minutes. To reinstall, it takes about 3 minutes.
Other than the thin, stick-on foam piece along the very front of the bed, closest to the cab, no extra pieces needed to create an adequate water seal under the edges of the cover.
I do recommend ordering and installing Ram 1500 Stake Pocket Covers to close up the rectangular holes towards the back of the bed rails prior to tonneau installation.
Clamps work well and are easy to adjust for that right fit.
